First we stopped off at a nature reserve near Howick Cross Lane. There was a white version of borage, there was green alkanette and snake's head fritillary and russian comfrey.
When we arrived at the bottom of Howick Cross Lane, there was huge patch of rape in flower and we saw a wheatear - not a very good photo - 
We walked along the river and there was this common scurvy grass and there was a gabion to help stop the river flooding and to stop erosion.

Some cracking shots here - love the angle you got on the fritillary, the whole lot are good.
