Wow. February all ready. This time last year loads of flowers were up. I went to the woods today with the dog and saw some hazel in flower. The red ones are female and the catkins are male.
I saw redwings! These are my first ones ever!
Snowdrops are just coming up.

Congrats on spotting your first redwing. A first sighting is always special.
I'm still looking for waxwing and hawfinch - one of these lucky days....
