I went up to the Lots at Silverdale and there was lots of early purple orchids.

There were a few green winged orchids. This is the darker form.

This is the pale form.
The pale colour shows off the green more.

There was lots of herb paris in Eave's Wood and Gait Barrows.

We photographed danish scurvy grass.
This is the hybrid of cowslip and primrose = false oxlip.

This is a wood speedwell.

This is yellow figwort. It is quite rare.

Sweet Woodruff in Eave's Wood.
Ramsons was out.
This fungus was massive!

Yellow Figwort looks fantastic, as do all the others - I am glad your seeing all these wonderful plants.
Pity we can't move them all into the Chorley district :)
