Ainsdale Sand Dunes 236

Today I went to the sand dunes at Ainsdale for a wildflower walk. There was sea spurge. There was this white form of restharrow.
Wild Asparagus
Yellowwort- It awkwardly closes its flowers at midday.

Sea Holly
Skullcap

There were colonies of pyramidal orchid.

Marsh Helleborines were out.

Evening Primrose in the Sunset
There were buff ermine about.
This is a dune helleborine but not in flower yet.
This is common valerian
Early Marsh Orchid ssp coccinea
Early Marsh orchid ssp incanata
This is broad leaved everlasting pea. The flowers are quite big.

Blue Fleabane
Bog Pimpernel
Bee Orchid
