Today I went to Cuerden on my bike. I first stopped off at the grassy verge near the newsagents to get a better photo of this hedgerow cranesbill.
Tufted vetch was out.
I have finally IDed this yellow crucifer as wild radish.

Spear Thistle was in flower!
In Cuerden there were banded demoiselle damselflies on the river. They werent really good at posing.
This is the female.
There was a big group of fish in the river, I'm not sure what they are.
Marsh cinquefoil in flower AT LAST!
Marsh Speedwell
I cannot wait until tomorrow because I'm going up to Arnside for the ladys slipper, fly orchid and greater butterfly orchid and any other plants I might be lucky enough to see!
