Hoghton Bottoms 14/7

Today we went to Hoghton Bottoms near Hoghton Tower. The railway viaduct over the river darwen was massive. It is awe inspiring how someone was able to build something so big! There were hundreds of mallards! I've never seen so many in a certain place. Someone said they are bred here and shot later in the year by poncey rich people! I finally found the elusive white campion.
Reflexed stonecrop
Garden Orpine.
I don't know what this umbellifer is. Its not upright hedge parsley.
These are the leaves.
Marsh Ragwort was seen

This was a loud waterfall. Some ducks got too adventurous and fell off the edge!
